Ostrom Research Featured in Hawaiian Seabirds Study


Professor Peggy Ostrom is collaborating with a team of research scientists from the U-M Museum of Zoology, the U.S. Geological Survey, the University of Buffalo, and the Smithsonian Institution, to study rare Hawaiian seabirds.  Tissue samples from Newell's shearwaters and Hawaiian petrels are being analyzed for information on foraging habits, genetic differentiation and former population size.
