The work of Dr. David Foran and the Forensic Science Program at MSU will be featured as the top video story, on the Discovery Channel.

See how students of the Forensic Sciences program learn how to identify the manufacturers of improvised explosive devices (IEDs) such as pipe bombs. Volunteers mock assemble bombs, then, at a secure site, with the Michigan State Police bomb squad at hand, detonate them. From the resultant shrapnel, the students attempt to "ID" who assembled each bomb.
