Course Announcement: Evo-Devo

Dr. Alex Shingleton will be teaching a newly developed Evolutionary Developmental Biology or Evo-Devo for both undergraduate and graduate students.

The course will look at the molecular, genetic and developmental basis for evolutionary change, and will be of great interest to anyone interested in morphological evolution and/or developmental biology. Because Evo-Devo is so integrative, it will also be a great opportunity for students to expand their knowledge into a less familiar area of biology. Students don't need a background in both evolution and molecular biology - an interest in just one of the two will do!
ZOL 448 is a 2 credit course suitable for undergraduates who have taken a course in Evolution. More information (pdf)

ZOL 890 Section 601 is a 3 credit course for graduate students and is the same as ZOL 448 but with additional in depth discussion. More Information (PDF)
Faculty are encouraged to bring the course(s) to the attention of your undergraduate and graduate students.
