Cognato selected as Fellow, Adams Academy for Instructional Excellence and Innovation


Zoology Assistant Professor April Cognato was one of eleven outstanding MSU teacher-scholars named as a member of the MSU Walter and Pauline Adams Academy for Instructional Exellence and Innovation.

The Adams Academy provides fixed-term instructors, academic specialists, and librarians, opportunities to further their development as "excellent teachers whose instructional decisions are rooted in the robust research literature on effective teaching and learning."  Members will attend facilitated cohort seminars that explore teaching and learning topics, as well as Lilly Seminars, Spring Institute on College Teaching and Learning workshops, or other campus instructional development activities.
